Really Confused re. ADR & Park Hours

I was just going over our plans for our trip on the 25th and I noticed that Hollywood Studios opens at 9 am, but I have an ADR for the Playhouse Disney character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine at 8:40.

How does that work?

You give them your name at the gate and they have a list to know that people will be there for early ADRs. They will let you in before the crowds, which is fantastic. Enjoy.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you will take a bus specifically for groups with early-morning character meals. It begins running around 7 or 7:30 a.m. When you arrive at the park, a Cast Member will verify your name and reservation time before allowing you in.

We had an early ADR when we went in Nov. Get there early since it is really nice to be able to walk the street, take pics etc w/o anyone else there. We have some great pics of the kids "under" the big socerer's hat on the main rd.
