This may have been asked before but, here goes. How is the family chosen to do the morning opening countdown at MK with the mayor and cast members?

Luck of the draw, I suppose. We've been there so early, we were nearly the only ones there and we didn't get picked.....maybe someday though....keep trying, right??:thumbsup:

When park opening is at 9:00, what time do they normally do the opening ceremony???

I believe it's 8:48.

Welcome show is 12 minutes prior to official park opening. No Welcome show on EMH mornings, except during the holidays when we ran it at 6:48am...LOL....oh - and for the original question, the family *is* a random pick. And yes...looking and acting all excited helps ;)
