Is this place ever open when I was younger me and my sister would eat nachos there. Now when me and the DW go their its never open. In case I named it wrong it was the restaurant across from the POTC we would eat there after we road POTC.:pirate:

I agree I wish this place was open more often. Their food is really good and it give you a change from the usual hamburger and fries!!! Listen up Disney, we want our tacos!!! LOL!

It still operates during peak crowd times and has recently done so for the '07/'08 Peak Christmas/New Year Season.

The Magic Kingdom has internally announced expanded dining offerings during the Peak Christmas/New Year Period. The park is operating all three of its Seasonal Dining Venues, adding additional serving periods and additional offerings to several of its regular venues, and adding several temporary dining kiosks. The expanded offerings were announced as follows:

El Pirata y el Perico Restaurante will open daily for lunch December 22 - January 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. December 28 - 31, El Pirata will offer extended operating hours until 8:00 p.m.

I wish they would open it more than that. I will be back 11/28/08-12/12/08 and I bet it will be closed. Thanks for the info.

I was there in Feb. 07 and we went there during the Pirate and Princess party.
