We were talking yesterday about how nice it would be to go to DL. One phone call later were booked!
Best Western Anaheim Inn came through for us again. It showed totaly booked up on its web-site, so I called to find out for sure. But, the did have a few rooms left. The manager also said since we have stayed there before he can give us a discount. $149/night down to $107/night boooyahhhh! :number1:

I am from Los Angeles and all of my family and friends still live in So. Cal. Express Jet nonstop to Ontario, CA Airport and American Airlines nonstop to John Wayne/OC Airport, allow me to go home for Sat-Sun visits often, and without hotel expenses except for special occasions:mickey:

5 days to my April 12 day trip home for opening weekend of F&W Festival with son & daughter-in-law (d-i-l).

25 days to my May 3-4 trip home for my early Mother's Day celebration with my son and d-i-l for closing weekend of F&W Festival. We're staying at Sheraton Anaheim Park Hotel 5/3 for this Mother's Day trip.

3 months 'til my July 19-23 trip home for my birthday. Not yet sure which day(s) at Disney on this trip.

Down to 68 days! I just booked 5 nights at The Hotel Ménage for like $86/night! I am very psyched (thanks to a certain discount travel website). It's only like a 10 minute walk so that makes me happy! It's probably a longer walk than that from the bus stops to the park entrances in WDW :D

I am finally getting excited for this trip. I am such a WDW person that it is hard for me to get excited about two smaller parks and not having the immersive feel, but I am working on it!

Thanks Donna, We already have, and we haven't even been yet! We just got a DVD from the Disney Movie club about the stories and secrets behind Disneyland. It was so interesting to watch. It really showed how Walt Disney was so ahead of the times.

I myself have been to Disney many, many times, my kids, 6 and 3, have been more than they are old, this is going to be a very special trip. We are meeting my inlaws there, they recently moved from CA to TX and we miss them terribly. My brother and his wife and 10 month old daughter are also coming. It is going to be amazing to share Disneyland with him and his family for the first time. And then, as if we wern't blending families enough, my husband is going to meet his older sister and her family for the first time. His mother had given her up for adoption when she was born. They found each other this Mother's Day and have since met. We thought the perfect place for the rest of us to meet would be Disney! I can't wait for this truly special trip.

Woohoo! In 4 short days, myself, DH and DS
(20 months old), will be in Disneyland! We have a 3 1/2 hour drive to SeaTac, then, on to LAX via Virgin Air. (Never flown that airline yet, but I'm hoping for a good experience and a smooth flight.) We're staying at PPH. Although I am very excited to be immersed in Disney magic, I'm somewhat apprehensive about flying with DS. DS, on the other hand, is not apprehensive, and just wants to see Mickey , "teacups", "hippo boats" (AKA:Jungle Cruise), Dumbo,and "choo choo tain". He refers to DL as, "Dizzyland" or "Micky Mouse House". After watching the clip of the DCA Pixar's Play Parade with DS on a daily basis, I almost wish I could pass it up, while there. DS even knows the music to it, and says, "count down to fun now! 5432 FUN!!!" Still not sure if we're going to do the Trick or Treat Party yet. I'm a worrywart and a planner, so I'm second and third guessing my ADR's. I'm also stressed about packing everything for all of us for a week. Just hope I don't forget DS's bedtime "lovies"...Ok, I know, I just need to calm down and breath. I'm just hoping for an enjoyable, relaxing time with my family. Here's to making lots of happy memories!:mpumpkin:
