Question about video games and DVDs at DVC resorts??

My mom and I went to WDW in Oct. and took the tour for the DVC.We are still deciding if we want to buy or not. We have a question about video game units and dvd players. Do the rooms come with these or are they available for rent? Are the TVs equiped for these games if we bring our own? Not that we will be using them much, but on nights when Mom has the kids, it would be handy.;) Any advice about this would be great!! Thanks!!

I know SSR had a DVD player in the living room of our one bedroom. You could borrow videos down at the Community Hall (Free for DVD members). They actually had quite a good selection. We rented a DVD one night for them while their was a monsoon outside.

I am not sure about hooking up a video game system. I am sure someone else could answer that. We are never in the room long enough to check that out...lol. But, they did have their Nintendo Ds's from the plane so, they could have played those if we had the time.
