Wanted to show you guys the latest dress I designed for my dd, it combines my love of Disney and sewing. It is a smocked Snow White dress. I love how it turned out. I'm going to be selling another one as a custom on Ebay (that's where you show the dress and then get the child's measurements, so it is truly a one of a kind piece) and I have a lady crocheting a cap with a flower on it in the blue and green colors. Megan gets to keep this one and you can see how much she loves to spin in it LOL. I have to thank so many of you guys too, for your nice comments of my work and inspiring me to get my boutique biz going!

That's absolutely beautiful. I wish I'd learned to sew - my idea of sewing, is hot-gluing a hem.

DH says, "Better learn". My dolls need dresses, and they're expensive to buy.

Shari, it's absolutely beautiful! I never realized that your DD's name is Megan - my youngest is Megan too.

This is darling! Excellent job! I know how to sew, but not how to smock -- after seeing this, I wish I did!

The dress is beautiful. I have known how to sew since the age of 7, but never learnt how to smock. Bought the materials to smock a top once, but sorry, way too much work for me. You definitely have a talent in what you do. It is also very well made from what I can tell in the photos. Lucky little girl you have with having a mother with so much talent.

Wow, her dress is stunning, you are amazing at what you do.:)

I think the Disney Store should strike up a deal with you for a designer line. :mickey:

I wish!!! On our last trip I when we were on the Backstage Lot tram tour, I wanted to stay in the costume area so bad! I loved watching the designers and seamstresses working at their stations, I could have sat there all day! LOL

Thanks for your nice comments!:mickey:
