P&PP May '08

If I am in the wrong forum, please feel free to move me......

I have been watching and planning for a May '08 trip. The calendar on the disney site has changed their hours on the 16th and 21st to now close at 7pm. There are also no Spectro or Wishes these two nights. The dates for the P&PP are listed only until March 14th. Does anyone know when they will announce any more dates or when you can purchase tickets? I can only assume these May dates will be party nights. What do you think?

I checked Intercot's event schedule for May, and it has the following listed for the Pirate & Princess Party:

Pirates & Princess Party
Magic Kingdom
May 2, 9, 16, 26, 31

I saw this too, however, the official disney website isn't even showing past March 14th. Just wondering if anyone knew of the official website updates or listings? Are these tickets onsale? Has anyone purchased for these dates?

All dates listed here at INTERCOT come directly from Disney. We don't list anything "unofficially". Of course, with anything Disney, all dates and times are subject to change.

That said, the tickets you speak of are not on sale yet.

That's why they close at 7. The party will be from 7 until midnight those days.

it has been my experience that the official disney site is almost always the last to post current information, checking info central on intercot is a much better way of getting the latest!

Since it wont be dark enough before a party date in May there will be NO wishes. I know last January when they introduced Pirate and Princess Party they would show wishes since it got dark early enough. Pirate and Princess fireworks are really cool you can see them from anywhere in the park and Tinkerbell is special too. Also the parade is neat but if it rains it isnt worth seeing cuz they cut bout 1 /2 the parade out.
But there will be treasure coves for the kids to collect and all the rides are open.

i called disney this morning to get p&pp tix for april 23 and the cm told me that they couldn't confirm that on those dates after march 14th there would be more p&pp parties but did say she could confirm that the park was closing at 7 on those dates for some kind of planned events - she also said to call and check with them on a weekly basis because if the planned events are more p&pp parties after march 14the the tix would be going on sale soon. hope that helps :princess::pirate:
