Day Two- December 1st
Today we woke up a little late & decided to go & check out some of the resorts. We started at Beach Club, then walked over to Boardwalk. After looking around at all of the decorations, we decided to get some lunch. We ate at ESPN Zone. I had a grilled cheese & fries and Lee had a burger. We checked out the Wyland gallery- I just love him!- then walked around by the Yacht Club & back to the car. Next we visited Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. We took the boat back & forth & saw a few otters in the water.
We took a break after resort hopping. I am glad we did because there were a ton of animals outside of our room when we got back to the resort. We watched a little TV and then got ready to head over to the Polynesian for the Spirit of Aloha. :lei:
First we parked at the Poly & took the monorail to the GF to see the gingerbread house- it was so cool! The entire lobby was decorated beautifully. We then took the monorail back to the Poly. I love the atmosphere at the Poly- there’s just something so calm & soothing about it. While waiting in line to get into SOA, we met a mother & daughter from Hatfield, MA. It was fun chatting with them about Massachusetts stuff until we were seated. As usual, the food was great. I love the bread, veggies, salad, and especially the rice. The show was very different for the holidays. There was a long break in the middle of it & there was definitely less audience interaction. I was kind of disappointed in the show- until the end. The end was the best!! :flame:
We decided to call it a night after this. Lee was tired, but I watched tv for quite a while. :tv:
