So, many of you probably know that I'm getting married in February. I finally picked up my wedding dress a little while ago. I had my first fitting on Friday...and it went uber-well!
I only have to get a few minor alterations around the bust line and then around the hem line so I don't trip up as I walk down the aisle.
As you can see in the pictures, I desperately need to fix my tan lines. I can't believe I still have them (they're from a water park trip way back in May!)
The dress is actually a bridesmaid's dress. It's by Da Vinci. It's got some nice beading around the bustline and the back near the zipper area. There are optional straps to use, but I wanted to have a strapless. There's an asymetrical overlay of a chiffon-like material over the top of that satin skirt.
It's just so pretty and it makes a cute little noise when it swishes! I feel like Julia Roberts in "Runaway Bride" when she says she's like a church bell. Tee, hee.
