In 2003 we went in early November and I don't remember seeing any Christmas at all. We went the same weekend this year and saw lots of Christmas - so for us the first time this year!

We did MVMCP, too! Loved it :mickey:

Only one of our trips has been during the Christmas holiday season. We're thinking of a future trip at this time, though.

Only one actual trip for the sole purpose of seeing the Holiday festivities, back in 1995, when they used to offer the Jolly Holiday dinner show at the Contemporary.

Our yearly trip is in November, so we are usually lucky enough to see all of the decorations..well, maybe not all. The last two years in particular, Disney began celebrating earlier, so we were able to catch the Osborne Lights and MVMCP as well.

Every fan of Disney and WDW should get to experience the World at Christmas time at least once.

In 2005 we spent 10 days in WDW and left the day after Christmas. It was wonderful!!!

In Jan 2003 we were there from Jan 3-10 and caught them. It was also wonderful. It is such a joy to see the festivities done to the hilt. Disney does Christmas so well.

We were down in Oct this year -- what a year to miss Christmas with the Castle done up like never before!!!!

Enjoy!!

Once each year since 2003 - I wasn't going to go this year , but this last Tesday I booked a trip for next week. I live in Oregon so it's not a little trip but I just decided I'd be sad if I missed MVMCP!

We just got back yesterday from our first Christmas trip. The temperatures were great, we decided this will probably be the only time we go from now on.

I've been ten times when the Christmas decorations were up, either at Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Year's. Love that gingerbread! Yum! +:mickey:

I went a lot as a kid (don't know how many times). As an adult, I've only been once. It was in Nov. '05 with my DH. I'm going again in 5 days, with my two teenage DD's. I can't wait to see their reactions!

I haven't made it yet to see WDW during the holidays, though I've wanted to go for a long time. I do have Disneyland near me, which is also wonderful this time of year.

On my most recent trip to WDW I went with several friends who love Disneyland but were making their first trip to WDW. Yesterday those same friends told me they were going to do to WDW for Christmas ... I was so jealous, but happy for them. Should be a great second trip to the world.

The only time we have been at WDW during the holiday was in 1997 when my mom, sister (my only sibling) and her family went together December 26-January 1. It was great but too crowded for me, I felt panicky the whole time.
I'll go again during the season, but I doubt I'll go the week between Christmas and New Year again!

oh, I almost forgot! My first trip was in 1972, during Thanksgiving week, there we no Christmas decorations then!

We will be taking our first Christmas trip in 2 days, 3hours - we'll be driving down. Hoping to see lots of pretty lights on the way!! It will probably be a long while before we do another christmas trip. I am hoping once I graduate nursing school we will make ressies for christmas through new year's day!

:santa::deer: We have been twice, Jan. 1-Jan. 7, 2003-All Star Movies and Dec. 25, 2005-Jan. 1, 2006-Coronado Springs-The second trip almost overwhelmed me to the point that I said never again at Christmas time....the problem is I was not prepared for the crowds and did not have a good game plan. Now I know, do not go to Magic Kingdom (Dec. 25, Dec. 31 or Jan. 1) on the holiday, but choose another park and things will be okay. Actually , I just can't imagine going at any other time of the year. Nowhere else on earth can you see the magic of Christmas time Disney style...so our next trip is Dec. 20-30, 2008-Pop Century

to get even more excited tonight on the travel channel is Samantha Browns Disney Holiday Show which starts at 9pm est. , it is supposed to be different from lasts year show, which gave me and dw the idea to go this year.

we've been attending around Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party on an annual basis (as our only Disney tradition) since the early/mid 90's, so this will be close to our 15th Christmastime trip I should think...it is my absolute favorite...never gets old, although I do miss Jolly Holidays at the Contemporary~

Never.

I am going next December (only one year to go!). I'm taking my girlfriend, who worked down there last year, so she's already seen it.

So December of 2008, Liz and I are going to spend a week in the most magical place on the planet during the most magical time of the year. :cloud9:

None, but I'm really hoping to go in 2008, I really want to see WDW at Christmastime!! And, with a little pixie dust from everyone, maybe with a special someone:blush:, whom I haven't actually met yet :secret:, but would love to before then!!! If not, solo, love that too. Enjoy everyone who is going this year!!!! I'm so jealous!

It probably will be a few years before I visit WDW again.

I was one of 5 costumers who worked on Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas last year. :santa3: I've seen the show over 100 times and can recite it word for word. Many times during our breaks we would head over to the Lunching Pad during the Christmas parties and get a cream cheese pretzel and watch Holiday wishes. We were even able to run over and watch Celebrate the Season on one break. Hence I've seen the Christmas decorations a countless number of times. :sleigh:

I'll be heading down next year with my boyfriend to see my Twas again. :)

We usually go in February or September/October, so we miss the Christmas decorations, but this year I took a December trip. It was well worth it. Talk about making the Magic more Magical! It was a great time to go and the lights were beautiful. The Christmas party was fun too, but I liked the Halloween party better myself.

I have only seen this once, many years ago. I would love to bring my wife there so she can see the Magic up close.
