first week of 08

OK, I need some help I want to come up the day after New Years and stay 3 nights what am I looking at with in regards to the parks ie MK that is the one Im worried about is it worth the trip and the hassle if there is one

I would be prepared for heavy crowds since New Year's falls on a Tuesday. Crowds should start dissipating that weekend.

thats what I was thinking and the kids start school that Monday, so who ever is going will probably stay further into the week..:unsure:

We are going to give it a try as well for New Years Eve and a few days after. Hoping for warm weather as kids will be happy to swim.

We went two years in a row, 2006 and 2007. Sunday through Friday each time. Good news was, it was off peak rates (starting the 1st) bad news was it was still decently crowded. The Orlando mini marathon is the 1st saturday in Jan and the Cm we reserved resort with said a lot of rooms are taken with that and more crowds.

We switched this year to Oct 22 - 26. Seemed lighter crowds, but not lowest room rates (but CBR for 122 a nite all in, so not bad)
