What are the Best Room Options at Poly?

I have organized a group of 6 families to travel to the Polynesian Resort in May 08 before heading to the Disney Cruise. I thought it would be great if we could try and put in a request for rooms convenient to the Volcano pool and Great Ceremonial House. Our group has a total of 11 children from ages 3-8. What would be your suggestions/advice for possible room requests: request procedure, building, floor, location, etc...? :mickey:

If you desire to be near the pool with a short walk to the GCH then Samoa is it. Request 1st floor on the Volcano pool side and that's it. These room are directly across from the pool with a line of lit torches in front at night. Its very nice. Good Luck and have fun.

The more things you request, the more specific your request, the less likely it becomes that WDW will be able to meet all your needs. Focus on what is most important to you-- having all the rooms close together? Being near the pool? Having patio or balcony? Rate your requests and ask for them in the order of importance to you. Samoa is probably a good building for you, but there are many buildings in easy proximity to the GCH and the volcano pool, like Rarotonga and Fiji. Best wishes with your planning!
