I was wondering what the restraints are like on EE. I'm pretty tall and sometimes have trouble with leg room, shoulder harnesses, etc. Are the restraints & seat room comparable to any other ride? Thanks for your help! :coaster

It's an individual lap bar. No shoulder restraint. There are two seats next to each other but the lap bar only goes over one person, not both, so I guess it's a bit safer than say...BTMRR where the lap bar goes across the whole car.

One time we were in line for EE and a gentleman who was quite tall and large expressed a similar concer. He boarded in the car before us and to his satisfaction was able to fit in fine. Hope this helps. :mickey:

I'm trying to remember if it is the same one's as The Mummy at Universal. I'm pretty sure but not completely sure that they are the same. They are just individual restraints that allow alot of room and are very comfortable. I'm 6'1 and I had no problem at all.

I think your right on that. If I remember correctly they are simular to the Mummy restraints. There is alot of leg room. I'm 6 feet and have no problems at all and find the that there is alot of space to sit in.

1) The EE passenger space was well designed.
2) I am 6'4" and there is GREAT LEGROOM.
3) Finally, they decided that people are taller than 5'11".
4) It is nice to not knock my knees, like on many WDW rides.

I too think that you will be fine with leg room, but there is a test car if you are really worried about it. It is a replica of the train car so that you can see how you feel in the car. It is in a discreet location and the CM at the entrance can point you in the right direction.:mickey:

Thank god! My DH is only 6 ft (not super tall, but at least in the 6 foot range), does complain about some of the rides we go on of his knees and how uncomfortable the seat is, etc.

I think that they made EE to accomodate taller/larger folks. I've always found it to be quite comfy and DH never complains on EE like he does on SE.

My DH is 6ft 7in and about 330lbs (I hope he is not reading this...sorry honey) anyways he rode EE without to much problem...I think he had a harder time getting his tummy in than his legs...oops I didn't say that
