I know that the Osborne lights usually start at a certain time....what time is it this year?....6:30pm nightly?

Also....how often do they do the dancing portion of the lights?...the entire time?....every top of the hour?....etc.

Thanks in advance

They usually start around sundown so 6:00 or 6:30ish and they can dance anywhere from every 7 minutes to every 15 minutes. I think there are 5 songs this year if I remember correctly. Hope you have fun. They are a blast and pay attention to the Giant 70 foot tall tree this year : )

Wow --- they do the 'dancing part' A LOT more than what I thought they would. I was assuming I was going to have to literally plan on a time to be there to see them...but it sounds as if I can just go whenever and hang out for a few minutes and I'll eventually see them!!!

Thanks so much!

....ever see those videos of the Christmas decorations on houses, set to music?

The dancing lights are like those.

Go to YouTube and look up Osborne Dancing Lights.....they'll show an example.

It's awesome.....

I was there on 11/24 and the lights started promptly at 6. The lights started dancing moments after. Then it seemed like they started again, just in time to have a group of eight fight their way to the other end of the street. :) Kind of makes you feel like a salmon! Then again walking back out. The dancing lights are amazing this year. It felt like it took hours to get from one side of the street to the other, but was really probably about 15 minutes or so.

No they don't and last I heard I doubt they ever will. They actually made at least 2 designs the angels and snowflakes. The snowflakes were my favorite : )

I haven't seen the glasses given out in years. I wore my angles and snowflakes this year, and it was fantastic! I miss getting fun things like that and the passholder preview of the lights they would do with the cookies, hot cider, and the free picture.
