I am so proud of my DD....

... and I just had to share!

I just got back from a breakfast at our DD9's school this morning, to honor students that had received Outstanding Citizenship awards for the first quarter of the school year! She was one of two in her class that received the award, and we are so proud of her. :)

This is her first year at this school, and we've been nervous as to how she would transition in - she and her sister had been at a Christian school prior to this, and after moving to this community and seeing how great the schools are, we decided to give it a shot. We knew they were enjoying themselves and doing well in school, but to see her receive this honor meant so much to us, and to her - and it really bolstered our belief that this transition was right for them. :D

So - I just had to share a little bit of our happiness that our oldest was honored today - what a nice way to end the week! :cloud9:

Give them a big thank you from me for making my day. Working day in and out w/ parents who don't even know what school their child attends can wear me down so hearing successful news brightens my day and helps me to keep going.:clappy: :fworks:
