We are new (as of September) DVC members and were hoping to get a DVC (AKV specifically-if possible) Christmas ornament. Do any of you have recommendations on how we might get one?
Thanks in advance for you help.:mickey:

In years past, they've given these ornaments out for free (yes, you read that correctly) at the Merry Member Mixers.
I haven't seen any plans for these Mixers this year. Traditionally, they were (are?) held at the International Gateway (outside of EPCOT) on Thursdays in December from 3-6 PM (not sure if the time is accurate, but it's close).
Other than that, I've not seen DVC ornaments. I've only seen resort specific ornaments.

I almost picked up a DVC ornament on our recent trip. But the $35 was not worth it. Yes, that is not a typo $35. It is a white ornament with the traditional DVC logo, none that I saw had the resort's name on it.
They can be found in the gift shops of DVC resorts. Maybe merchandising can help you? The # is 407-363-6200. Is your guide a DVC guide? They may be able to help you as well.
Good luck!
