Shipping as Statue [Archive]

There is a statue that i love at the Art of Disney. It's the Jessica Rabbit one. To ship it home to Canada would over $100 and I don't want to risk it getting broken while in the luggage hold since it has to be checked. Does anyone know if I can ship it to a US Post Office and then pick it up there? we are driving to Buffalo and then flying from there. So could I ship it to a Buffalo Post Office and then pick it up there?

If you said you had a car, have you considered going off-site and trying to ship it from FedEx or the resorts? I've heard if you go through the resorts, it will be cheaper but I don't know how it works. Going through an outside company other than Disney might also be a bit cheaper. It's because Disney considers Canada to be International so it has to charge more for shipping.

I also want the statue and they want to ship it to me - and I live 5 minutes away.

No we are flying from Buffalo we won't have a car while at WDW.
