First going to gulf 2 nights than disney - what to do about luggage?

Hi! My husband and three kids age 11, 10, 7 and I are planning on going to Florida in June 2008. First we are going to stay at Treasure Island for 2 nights on the Gulf and then we will be back at the airport to return a rental car but would like to take the disney express to the Poly for three or four more nights. Can this be done and will they take our luggage? Thanks!

Will you be returning your car to the Orlando airport? You will be eligible to use DME but you do need reservations in order to use the service.
But if you're going to drive from the Gulf Coast why not stop at Disney and register and leave your luggage? Your DH could return the car and take DME back to the resort to meet you. Or, check and see if there's anyplace closer to Disney that he could return the car to.
