Hi,

Does anyone know what a VIP ticket is and how to get them???

Also, does anyone know if you go to Disney with a large group of 20 to 25 people and you do not stay on site, does Disney do anything special??

We are leaving in a month for the most ultimate, magical Bar mitzvah celebration

:mickey:

Thanks...

Disney has a "Magical Gatherings" program for large groups. It's a program that helps you plan and so some special things just for you group. The special events aren't free, but they can be a lot of fun. Call Disney or Magical Journeys and ask about the Magical Gatherings program.

I think you have to stay on site to qualify as a magical gathering but I could be wrong.

In any event, have a wonderful time!! What a magical way to celebrate such a special occasion!!!

I don't know anything about VIP tickets.

I just wanted to wish the lucky young-man-to-be Mazel Tov.

There are no VIP admission tickets, if that's what you mean. You can pay for a VIP Tour guide. I forget the exact cost, but I think it's something like $800 or $900 for 6 hours.

What it gets you, exactly, appears to depend on what guide you get. I've heard some arrange for front-of-the-line priviledges on some attractions, but it's not included as a part of the normal services. It all depends on the guides ability to arrange it.

As far as I know, outside of things like the Fantasmic Dinner Package, there aren't any VIP tickets sold to any shows or anything like that either.

And I also believe you need to stay on site to qualify for a Magical Gathering.

If you're willing to pay for it, Disney will be more than happy to work with your group in planning something special. I suggest you call their group sales department at 800-327-2989 to speak with one of their specialists. Less than a month isn't much planning time, but I would give it a try. What they offer for grand gatherings is a benefit of staying on site, but as I mentioned, if you have the budget for it, they'll give you some options.

Have an awesome time!

About grand gatherings (from the wdw website):

A Grand Gathering is a group of 8 or more staying at select Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort Hotels. This means the more you gather, the more you can enjoy all kinds of special benefits, services and one-of-a-kind experiences we've created just for large parties like yours. We welcome kids of all ages, but only those age 3 and up are considered part of the guest count.
