Oct. 25, 1991 – The Disney TV special “The Dream is Alive: 20th Anniversary Celebration at Walt Disney World” aired on CBS.
Oct. 25, 1993 – Actor Vincent Price, best remembered for his many horror films, passed away in Ca. Price was the voice of “Ratigan” in Disney’s 1986 animated feature “The Great Mouse Detective.”
Oct. 25, 1993 - The Farmers Market at The Land Pavilion closed and will be replaced by Sunshine Season Food Fair, and Broccoli & Co. closed and will be replaced with Green Thumb Emporium.
Oct. 25, 1996 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “The Associate” was released.
Oct. 25, 1997 – Epcot’s “International Food & Wine Festival” began at WDW. (Ran through Nov. 23rd)
Oct. 25, 1997 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “Under Wraps” aired.
Oct. 25, 1998 – Disney Channel’s “The Famous Jett Jackson” premiered with the episode “Going Up!”
Oct. 25, 2000 – Thirty lucky Haunted Mansion fans dined in the Disneyland attraction as part of the Fantasy Dinner offered by the park at $2,000 a plate.
Oct. 25, 2003 – The “Walt Disney Concert Hall” opened in Los Angeles, CA.
Oct. 25, 2005 – Disney’s “Herbie: Fully Loaded was released on DVD.
