Does anyone know if Spaceship Earth is finished with the reburbishment? I thought is was going to be closed until mid November. I don't see that listed on the website anymore.

The recent reports have the refurb way behind schedule with some saying it won't reopen until January.

The WDW website is now showing Spaceship Earth closed until 2/18/08. :crying:

Hey, I just checked the calendar on disneyworld.com for month of November(which is the month I'll be there :D:mickey::D:mickey: ) and it doesn't list any operational updates at all for Spaceship Earth...not even Wonders Of Life which we all know that's a very picky seasonal operation schedule. Keep your fingers crossed.:number1:

We are here (at the world) now and it was closed and boarded up yesterday!

On the WDW site, as of this morning, they are showing it closed through Feb. 18, 2008. There has been lots of discussion about this in this thread:

Last week I overheard workers talking about how difficult the work has turned out to be.

Awwww! That's a bummer! I was really hoping to be able to ride it during our December trip. Oh, well. That's the way it goes I guess! At least I'll have it to look forward to for next summer! :)

Was checking the status of what rides were undergoing renovatoons, etc... during our trip in a few days and saw this from the WDW site:

Spaceship Earth: Closed for Refurbishment [November 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007]

Ugh!!! It's one of our family favorites and originally was supposed to reopen on 11/14-the day before we leave to come home. Guess we'll have to wait until our next trip.......

I feel the Pain. Love that ride. However in January when I am there Splash MOuntain is closed. I have never been to Disney and had everything operational. Just maybe one day my Dream will come true.

Lots of threads being opened on SSE. Actually the ride is closed through Feb. 18, 2008. Never fun to have a favorite closed. BTMR was closed last week when we were there. But then, there's always something being rehabed which is ultimately good for all of us.
