I was just reading about the Pal Mickey toy that you can buy. I was wondering if anyone had ever used this before and how much it costs. Does it really let you know when characters are nearby? Basically, does it do what they promise and is it worth the money? Thanks!! :mickey:

Pal Mickey went with us on our first day at WDW. Let's just say he sat in the hotel room the rest of the trip.
There's too much stuff to see at the parks without having to bother with a stuffed toy, he's awkward to carry around, hard to hear, and doesn't say stuff that is very interesting.

We sometimes take our Pal Mickey, he pretty much does what he says (and my son like to hold him) But the problem is he is hard to hear over all the other noise.

I have to agree with the above posters I haven't purchased one but travelled with a friend who was using it and by the time yiou actually herad Mickey say anything he was done. I Imagine it would still be fun for little ones but would reallly like and earpiece added so he is easier to understand :mickey:

If you can get one for cheap on Ebay or borrow one, they are great fun, he says cheesey jokes and yes he is hard to carry, but my wife and I take him everywhere...he starts to become like a child..."mickey not now" we generally say
