I was looking at counter service/snack cart menus and prices trying to calculate our budget for our upcoming last minute trip (No dining plan this time). This will be our 4th trip together, and now that we are adults and becoming seasoned vets, we are starting to look beyond the norm and try new things.

I came across two interesting finds at MGM (OR Disney's Hollywood Studios, whatever it's called now).
I haven't been to either of these places before. We usually just hit up Backlot Express or Pizza Planet.

Catalina Eddie's lists pizzas and a hot Italian deli sandwich. Is the pizza here the same as Pizza Planet or different? The pricing is the same... Anyone ever have the sandwich?

Flatbread Grill (formerly Studio Catering Co.)
Lists a $6.50 Barbeque Pulled Pork sub (good for me)
and a $6.15 Chili Cheese Dog (very tempting for DBF)

So, any reviews?

My favorite Counter Service at MGM is Starring Rolls. Two awesome sandwiches and a killer veggie wrap. They also have the best CS dessert selection around.

I'm a big fan of the Grilled Turkey at Backlot Express

I can't vouch for Catalina Eddie's. I've looked at the food and as a result never tried it. Sorry.
