F & W Question

It's bben a while since DW and I have been to the Food & Wine Fest. Do all of the booths take credit cards, or will we need cash? Thanks.

Be prepared for the long lines at most booths...we spent more time in line than eating or walking around and enjoying ourselves...we were there on the first weekend, and perhaps that was the problem, but we'll make dinner reservations from now on and just snack at the booth for lunch...we truly spent way too much time in lines (maybe they need fast passes...ha/ha/ha)

The lines were also long at most booths this past week as well. Part of the problem seems to be the lack of sampler (display) plates this year. You couldn't visually see what the items would be.

Lots of people needed to ask questions about the choices because the name and descriptions didn't always make it clear what you would be getting. This meant it took longer for people to make choices, longer for them to be served and thus longer lines. Hope they bring the sampler plates back for next year.
