Is there still a character meet and greet in EPCOT that is only for disney visa card holders? I remember going to it last year and wanted to make sure it was still available before we left.

9 more days!

Yes!!!! I just did it on October 6th. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy in their traditional attire. Last year we had, Mickey, Chip and dale in the YOAMD attire. I plan on going again in December!!!

How do you get to go to this? Do you just show up with your Disney Visa in hand or did I throw something away from the mail that I should have held on to?

This sounds like fun! We just applied for the Disney Credit Card, and hope to have it by our trip in 18 days. How do you do this meet & greet if you have your card? :mickey:

Below is the info on the Visa Card site. When we were there a few weeks ago. They had the times posted as 1:30-4:30pm. But I am sure they change often. The kids were too tired so we didn't get to do it. I wish we had!

The Walt Disney World® Resort Character Meet 'N' Greet Event is offered once daily at a selected time at Epcot®. Separate theme park admission required. Must present a valid Disney Rewards® Visa® Card for entry for up to 6 people per card. Operating times, days of week, locations and appearance of Characters may vary and are subject to change without notice. Subject to availability and location capacity. Offer includes one complimentary 5 x 7 photo per valid cardmember account.

DW, DD and I did this last month. DW and I each have a card and had separate pictures taken. Also, if you have a photopass card, I believe you can have these pictures added to it as well in addition to the free 5x7.

Just a quick heads-up on this - make sure you check and see that the photopass person is in there before you stand in line. We were there a few weeks ago, stood in line for over 30 minutes, and when we finally got in there (Mickey and Pluto were there), we were told that the photopass person's camera had quit working, so they had left a while ago and would hopefully be back soon. We were able to get pictures with our camera, but no photopass pics.

It was great -- our first time there it was Minnie and Pluto, but something had supposedly happened to the photopass camera so when we went to pick up our pics -- we got escorted back by a CM and we got extra time with Mickey and Goofy! When we bought our photopass card and got it home, we noticed that ALL of the pics were there, so we actually got two sessions that day.

The free 5x7 is awesome, they even have the ability to "autograph" it digitally.

We are going to be at WDW for 17 days & I was wondering if there is a limit to how many times you can do the "meet & greet" during your stay.

DH and I just got our Disney Visa cards and I am excited to do this on our trip in a week and a half. If DH and I each have a card does that mean we can each get a photo with all 4of us in it? Is it one per day or one per visit?

I believe it is one photo per day per account.

Can you just show your Disney Visa card or do you have to have that rewards card thing? How strict are they about this? Any info is appreciated! :mickey:

As big into character hunting as my family is, we have never taken advantage of this. Mainly becuase the characters are usualy some combo of the big 5 or Chip and Dale. For dedicated character hunters we do not take the time to get multiple shots of these characters becuase we are hunting in other locals for more obscure characters.
