When the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster was being built, there was a great deal of concern among Disney engineers that the nearby Tower of Terror's 2 elevator drops, coupled with the energy needed for the roller coaster's launch might actually being down the entire Studios' power grid! So a new electric substation just was built just for Rock 'N' Rollercoaster.
