On our next trip (fall '08) we plan to send the DDs to one of the kids clubs and have a date night. We could use some help...

First of all - what are your favorite date night restaurants?

Second - for parents who have done this - have you found it better to use the kids club at ther resort where your'e staying or at the resort where you're eating (if you're eating at a resort)?

Date nite restaurant...California Grill! It is gorgeous.
I would say put the kids in the child care at the resort you are staying at. If you decide to get up to anything else after dinner then you won't have to worry about getting back to a different hotel and then to the one you are staying at.

Ditto for California Grill. It was a really great experience! Jiko was also wonderful. The food and atmosphere were great and conducive to a romantic evening.

Hope you enjoy! :pirate:

I like Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge...very nice restaurant...and then perhaps a walk outside around the back courtyard and a relaxing rock in the chairs around the outside firepit...or inside fireplace...and perhaps a drink at their bar...altogether very quiet, very nice...only drawback is the transportation to and from other resorts...you would either have to take a taxi or go back and forth from DDD..unless one of the parks is open late that night and you could catch a bus from AKL to whichever park and then transfer to your resort bus...This is the only drawback to not having your own vehicle and depending on Disney Bus Transportation...whereever you pick you'll have a wonderful evening...another thought...there is Narcoossee (however it's spelled) at GF...and a walk around that resort and a drink would be nice...and then you could take the monorail to the TTS and transfer to a resort if it isn't too late...

California Grill is wonderful, although we find it quite loud, and very open and the hotel has no atmosphere other than that restaurant to spend more time. If you just want dinner...time it for the fireworks at MK...
