Last summer we went to the MK and as our last ride of the ride went on the Wed way people mover. (I know the named changed long ago but can't remeber it now.) Well we were on the ride for over an hour! It stopped right over the speedway. We had a nice view of the castle and hustle and bustle below... that is until the park closed and we were still up there!! They finally came around and had us get out and walk off. We had to cross the track and being short not even 5' they had to lift me over since they told us not to touch the metal rail. We walked down the stairs in the back of Space mountian and they gave us a special fast pass for anyride in MK for the next day. Luckily the buses were still running and we made it back to the WL way after midnight!

Mom and I got stuck on BTMRR about 10 years ago. For a little background, I had had surgury on my foot and knee about six weeks before the trip so I could walk but no stairs or anything like that and I had to use a wheelchair. Anyway, this is one of our favorite rides and I didn't think anthing at all about going on it (several times!). One afternoon when we went the ride was stopped unexpectedly just before we were in sight of the station. Everyone had to get off the train and walk back in. Fine for everyone else but unkown to me before this, there is quite a jump to get off of the train when it is not in the station! So we were in the last row and two CMs went row by row giving people a hand to jump down to help them keep their balance. Well, when they got to us we told them that due to my restrictions I could not jump down. Of course, they can't do more than offer a hand to help so we were pretty much stuck on a stuck ride! They had to call managers and other important people because they were wearing suits to the scene to decide what to do. After an hour all of the people gathered around (even in the suits) got around the train and pushed it into the station! By this time by Dad and Sis were worried out of their minds and I didn't know whether to be really embarrassed or feel really special! The next time we went, they had added another question to those in wheelchairs besides heart problems, etc. --if the train stops would you be able to jump down?

Wow that is pretty intresting experience you can take back with you bet that doesn't happen often.

I have been stuck on a few rides actually. I got stuck on test track before for a couple minutes. Ellens Energy Adventure broke right after he asked the final question lol we had to go out a side door which actually was in the same hall way you enter I always wondered what went that way and know I know lol. Winnie the Pooh ride for a minute I think they where getting somebody from a wheel chair on but not being a big fan of Winnie the Pooh it made it worse :D Tower of Terror was probably the scariest. We started to go up saw the window fly at us then the doors closed and we where stuck there in the pitch black. We where that way for five minutes before they finally turned the lights on and we went down very slowly. Then they had trouble opening the restraints :( The worst part was my friend had never been on it so she thought it was part of the ride and then got scared when she found out that it wasn't lol afraid she was going to drop. The worst however has to be getting stuck on Small World :( Last time we where there we had a huge back up all the way through the White room. Took just as long to get through that as the entire ride was.

This last trip (sep 07) we got stuck for about a 1/2 hour on snow white. An elderly lady fell once she got on the moving floor. She was ok though as we were exiting she was politely but firmly telling the paramedics and Disney people she did not need or want a wheel chair.

The most fun was getting stuck on test track. We were stuck for almost 1/2 hour and had to be walked off the ride. My uncle and son were in the car behind us stuck in the freezing cold spritzing water part. By the time the cm's came to get us they and other riders new our names.

I didn't get stuck, but Space Mn. broke down rt before I was to board, so the lights came on and I got to see the tangles mess that coaster is. Pretty neat looking.

Last week my husband and I got stuck on BTMMR right as it was getting ready to pull into the station. We would not have minded it except for the love bugs that were attacking us! The trip before that we got stuck on TOT,they had to lower us back down and they turned on the lights and we exited through a back hallway. When we got stuck on BTMRR we were given fast passes to use anytime before 10/31 at MK only..nothing from TOT.

I got stuck on POTC in Disneyland for 45 minutes a while back after an earthquake! We couldn't feel it because of the boat but for a very long time I couldn't get the Yo Ho song out of my mind. We were stuck at the bottom of the waterfall befor the end. We must have been shot 500 times by the pirate on the barrel.

Got stuck on HM a couple years ago. Took a while to get the laugh from the ghost host out of my head.

We got stuck on Alice in Wonderland once and got to walk out through the rest of the ride.

It was actually pretty cool!

When I first read this I thought we had perhaps ridden the ride at the same time. When we were there in May, my mom and I got stuck at the same point - just after the window breaks. The doors close...and nothing happens. My mom goes "thats not good" and everybody laughed. Luckily a second later the ride started going again.
Glad everyone got off safe and sound.

We got stuck on the Seas: with Nemo and Friends once. We were in front of Bruce talking and talking and talking for about 30 minutes and he got really annoying! :mickey:

Myself, DW, DS and DD got stuck on the Barnstormer this past Sept. We were almost to the top of the big hill when it stopped. We were up there about half an hour. They finally got it going and we completed the ride. They gave us a fastpass good for any one ride in the MK when we got into the station.
Then, a few years ago I go stuck on Test Track with my sister-in-law. We were in the big turn where you're going really fast, and it just stopped! I never realized how steeply banked that turn is. I was on the outside and it was all I could do to keep from squishing her. We were up there about 15 minutes. Pretty good work out!

My then-8 yr old daughter and I got stuck on Test Track last December. The first time was about 5 minutes before you go around the mountain curve inside, as well as a few times after that, but only for a couple minutes each. We had just opened up outside and I said "this was all worth the breakdowns!", but then, right at the entrance to the end tunnel, it stalled.... for 25 minutes. We had a fast pass for Soarin' that expired at 11:27. After we FINALLY got off that ride, we had to run across the park and arrived at Soarin' at EXACTLY 11:27! I would've put up such a stink if it was a minute later and they didn't allow us! Lucky for them! I was so mad at that ride, but we were just there a week ago and rode twice with no breakdowns! YAY!

my friends and i got stuck on Splash Mountain right at the base of the final hill. we started the incline, and then slid backwards to a level position looking up at the big hill. apparently, there had been a medical emergency after the last drop and someone had to be carried off to the hospital. it's hard to say how long it was, but if i was to guess, somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 minutes. not too bad, considering what was going on, and how long others have been stopped on rides. the best part was being in a shady area on a hot day for a little longer!

On my last trip we managed to get stuck on Space Mountain. Just as we were nearing the end of the first half of the ride the lights went on and we got stuck on the platform before you go around again. We were there for probably a good 15 minutes, so i wipped out my camera and took some pictures of the inside of SM! a sight not many people get to see! The tracks definatly don't look the same with the lights on! :-) A cast member finally came to rescue us and we finished the ride out with the lights on. Unfortunatly for my dad, they let us ride again once the ride reset itself!

And earlier that day we had gotten stuck on the HM exactly in front of the mirror with our hitchhiking ghost. So that was actually a good spot to get stuck! :mickey:

I have only been stuck on Test Track and that was for about 10/15 minutes. Then our ride continued. We just sat there and talked.

We got stuck on POTC in August. There had just been a rain storm and after the fireworks for EEH we headed for POTC. There was no one there and it was quick getting on. But it stopped right in the middle. Someone said it was the storm. We sat there for about 15 minutes and watched the drunk pirate sing to the cat over and over. Then they turned the lights on and the sound off and he was still moving. I tried to get pictures but they didn't turn out good.

That same trip, SM broke just as we were about to get on. I wasn't sure I wanted to ride it anyway because I'm not a rollercoaster rider. I was doing it for my DH. They turned the lights on and the CMs started talking about the cars stuck at the top. I was ready to leave and if I could have found an exit door, would have. They even had the CMs exit from the tracks and go in the back. That didn't feel good to me. We were in there for about 15 minutes before it started again but then the cars still weren't working right and I was a nervous wreck before we got off. Never again! :)

I always, and I mean, ALWAYS, get stuck on Test Track. Last time, it was right before we were about to re-enter the building. To pass time, I took out my suntan lotion and reapplied it to my arms, legs, and face. Just when I finished, the ride started up again. Perfect timing!

We were stuck on SSE for about 30 min. just as the ride turns backwards for the descent back down to earth;). To make the best of the situation and since the stars were still in my line of sight, I bunched up my sweater, placed it behind my head and had a much needed WDW power nap. It was great!!

Last June DS and I got stuck on Primevil whirl...we had just started across the top and it stopped. We only had to sit there for a minute or two when the CM's came up and lead us down the cat walk.....it was pretty cool to walk down it from the top.....

My in laws got stuck on Pirates about 10 years ago. They sat in the auction scene for about a half hour... so much that my DH and FIL started screaming "We want the redhead!!!" over and over! (I'm sure the other guests loved this.) MIL refuses to ever go on Pirates again but I am sure FIL will win her over on the next trip.
I got stuck on Buzz once (prob for a wheelchair) and got my best score ever! I have also gotten backed up on Small World in the last scene but it is one of my favorites so I didn't care!

DH and I got stuck on Mulholland Madness at DL (it's like the Primeval Whirl) a couple of years ago at night, of course. It's the only time being stuck on a ride where I've actually had to get out of the vehicle and be escorted down the service stairs. Made for great entertaining handycam video. :D

of all the rides ive been stuck on i would say test track and spaceship earth are the two that seem to come up the most...def a few 20+ min experiences on each. splash mountain a couple times as well, for some reason people like to get off the boats (reallly annoying).

The worst experience we ever had was a stoppage on Splash Mountain. It seemed like we had been stalled for two hours but it was really only 15 or 20 minutes. We never did hear what happened, but we just kept hearing the announcement over and over about staying seated and that the ride would restart momentarily! Needless to say we were sick of hearing it by the time we got off.

I have gotten stuck on quite a few rides. The worst one however was buz lightyear in the very last room where all the stars are spinning around. I had to turn the car around because I was getting motion sick (which is odd for me) from the spinning stars

Last month, we got stuck on the Safari for about 20 minutes when a pelican decided to sit in the road in front of the vehicle ahead of us. The CM obviously had no prepared schpiel for that situation? "A rhino can eat up to 150 lbs of vegetation a day! ... can anyone tell me how much a rhino can eat every day? ....good! ...can anyone tell me what animal can eat up to 150 lbs of vegetation a day? ...good ..."

Then later that day, we got stuck on TOT. We got through all of the show elements, but right when the car got into place for the drop/shoot-up, it just stopped. We were stuck there for maybe five minutes before they got us out and walked us to another (normal!) elevator. The walls and floor were all mirrors! Then we went back to the loading area and got right back on the ride in another ride vehicle.

DD6 and I got stuck on Splash Mountain two weeks ago. We were the last ones to get on just as they were closing the ride. We were stuck in front of the big hill and waited about 10 minutes before we started up again. Since we were the lasts guests on and there were a couple of empty boats ahead of us, we were worried that they had figured everyone was already off and had closed the ride.

What made it worse was DW was waiting by the gift shop for us to come out. After about 10 minutes of noone exiting, she started freaking out and thought she had missed us and were wandering around in the park without her. (We had separate cell phones, but unbeknownst to me she had left hers in the back pack which I was carrying {not the only time that happened that week}). Anyway, we finally finished the ride, but I will not get on a similar type ride that close to closing again.

the whole family and I were just stuck in the Haunted Mansion during our trip last week of September. It was like 20 mins and we were near the end in the graveyard scene. Not too good of a place to be with a very upset 5 & 7 year old. I mean the were good through the rest of the ride but getting stuck in the graveyard scene was a little too much for them. Due to all the music and sound effects playing you couldn't hear anything the announcer person said. I mean you could hear that something was trying to be said over the speaker, but couldn't make out the words.

I was a little upset that they didn't say anything to us at all when we excited with what was clearly two very shaken kids. They offered no explanation as to what had happned or fast passes for another ride or anything. The line was a 15 min wait when we went in and was up to about 45 mins by the time we excited. truthfully I did like the ride, but I can pretty much guarantee that DD and DS will probably never ride it again.

My seven year old and I got stuck on SM at DL this March. We were about half way through and the ride came to sudden stop  and all of the lights came on. We were there for about 15 minutes before a couple of CMs had to push start our car to get us out. It was actually neat to be able to look around inside SM with the lights on:thumbsup:, and when we did get to the station they told us to stay on if we wanted another ride. My son thought that was so cool - to go again.

We got stuck on Ellen's ride too. We had to walk out from the first scene. The ride vehicles never started and we sat there for a while before they took everyone out.
A few trips back we got stuck on Dinosaur just a few cars away from where you get off. This doesn't sound bad but it was terrible. I started to get a panic attack. I had to get that pesky seat belt off. I didn't need to stand, I just needed to know I could stand. Anyway, DH talked me out of that one. The other riders just looked at me like I was

I've been stuck in that same spot before, just watching that little chariot over, and over, and over. I've also been stuck on the decent, and that does make for a nice nap.

July 06 I spend about 15-20 on Test Track, in a dark spot, with 5 people I didn't know. We had a ball laughing and joking.

On my most recent trip a couple weeks ago, I managed to get stuck in Pooh. :mickey: We also stopped for a few minutes flying over London on Peter Pan's Flight.

Between us, my family has been stuck on a ride in almost every park!

At DL we were on Snow White when the ride stopped. Luckily we were at the beginning and they let us off right away. My DS (10 mo at the time) started freaking out right away. Some teenager had gotten off the ride to steal the apple. I guess this happens all the time there.

My DH was stuck on POTC when he was fairly little with his whole family. His grandma thinks it was over an hour of listening to "YO HO YO HO..." over and over and over. It wasn't until all the small children (my DH included) all started crying hysterically that a CM came to help them off the ride.

on my last trip, it felt like we got stuck on everything. we got stuck on pooh, buzz lightyear(2x), CoP, and (worst of all) the great Movie Ride. Great movie ride was awful... we were stuck in the tarzan scene for upwards of 20 min with tarzan swinging back and forth yelling >.<

I've been stuck twice on Test Track. Once on the steeply banked curve outside, and once in the cold temperature room. Of course, that one had to be the longest, and they didn't turn off the cold, so I was shivering by the time the ride started up again. At least they let us ride again without having to exit the vehicle and rejoin the queue.

We were in the World September 22-29th. We had quite a few break downs! The Seas with Nemo ride for about 5 mins. Winnie the Pooh for about 5 mins. HM was down about 10 minutes right as we were about to board and it went down twice while we were on it for about 1-2 minutes each time. We also got to see the last scene in CoP 3 times! Also, Everest was up and down all day the day we were there. I got to ride it once, but we were about to board it for the second time on the next train and it went down. It was right at 5:00 so we didn't get to ride it again! Also Dinosaur was down the first 2 hours of the day. I am glad I didn't get stuck on that!

Let's see. . . .I've been stuck on Carousel of Progress for an hour or so, stuck inside Small World for an eternity or so (well, more like 45 minutes, but you know what I mean), and been stuck for 5-10 minutes on a couple of others.

But really, once you've heard either "It's a great big beautiful tomorrow" or "It's a small world" for 45 minutes or more, it takes a lot to phase you. :D

I've been stuck on the HM several times for varying times (a minute to about 10 minutes), I've gotten stuck on Buzz Lightyear, and the Great Movie Ride. We made it as far as John Wayne and after about 10 minutes. They started going from car to car to let everyone out. We had to walk out. It was actually pretty neat and we got fast passes to return later in the day.
We also got stuck right at the point that you start to go up the last incline before the big drop on Splash Mt. We must have heard the buzzards(or crows - I can't remember) saying their "lines" about 20 times. I felt sorry for anyone who was already anxious about the drop!

We have been stuck on many rides over the years. There are two that really come to mind. Our log on Splash was stuck for about 20minutes right before the "take off" for the big drop. We had to listen to the vultures tell us "There's no turning back now"...

The second one that won't leave my brain is being stuck on Small World for 2 hours. My mom and I thought we would take a quick spin on this ride before we met the other members of our party. Well what we thought would be a quick 10 minutes turned into 120 minutes. We were stuck in the final scene - the dolls singing pretty much the whole time . There was a back up of boats so we waited, and waited, and waited. Cast Memebers kept walking beside us telling us that someone would be there soon to help us of the ride. Well no one came, and no one came. Finally a CM in hip waiters came walking through the water and grabbed our boat and pulled us back through Hawaii and then we were allowed to exit the boat. The cool part was that the exit door let us out "off stage"- got to see the not so glamourous face of disney. Anyway I had nightmares about the singing dolls for months afterward. To this day it is hard for me to get onto this ride.

We've been stuck a number of times as well, but the two worst for me were Dinosaur and the HM. On Dinosaur, it was the first time I ever went on the ride, and we got stuck for 5-10 minutes with a dinosaur looking like it was going to eat us. I got really freaked out, and felt very claustrophobic for some reason. I am still a bit freaked out by this ride because of that experience. (I haven't found it as bad when it operates properly). On HM, were were in the graveyard scene and stuck for a while, and something about it just freaked me out. Among others we've been stopped on, SM, Pooh, Mr. Toad in DL (we evacuated this one), and SE all come to mind.

Keeping my fingers crossed, we've only had really 1 issue, we were on Ellen's Energy Adventure, saw the pre-show, got all loaded up onto the cars, and the next part started. However, when the cars were supposed to start moving through the dinasour scenes, nothing happened. We moved a foot or two, and then nothing happened.

:wait: We waited, and waited, and waited :wait:, and then were told to leave so they could reset the ride. We were given "Free" fastpasses, which could be used on Test Track, Mission Space or Honey I Shrunk the Audience.

We went back to Ellen a couple of hours later and all was good :whew:

POTC for about 30 minutes, just under "...dead men tell not tales..." over and over again!! Finally a CM had to come out in waders to push our boat back to the "dock." The upside was the go-to-the-front-of-the-line passes we each received, and managed to use on both Buzz and Space Mtn!!

We were stuck on splash this past thursday during the Halloween party. We were up the first hill where you round the bend and see the castle right before the first drop. We were there for maybe 20 mins. A CM came around and said they were working on it. Then 2 CM'S came and evacuated us. We climbed out of the log onto a ledge and out a side door and down some stairs. They gave us fast passes to any ride in MK good till the end of the month.
