We will be staying at the boardwalk Inn. When you buy things at the theme parks you can have it delivered to your resort Can you have them mail it to your home?

You can have items shipped to your home, you just have to fill out the address form. I don't remember if there is a minimal shipping fee?

There is a charge to mail home...the lowest that i've paid is around $9 and I've paid as high as $30...all for slow, UPS service...no airmail. But it sure beats lugging large items on a plane and home...This time we had all the ornaments from the Disney Xmas Store mailed home rather than chance breaking ... besides they will replace if it's broken in shipment...including personalized items.

We were in Disney August 26th to September 2nd and I bought one of those Castle like polly pocket doll houses for my daughter that I did not want her to seee cause Santa is bringing it. So I had it shipped, we live in Evansville IN and it was $14.95 to have it shipped. It was a good 2 feet high by 18 inches wide so I thought that was pretty resemble. Can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning..... :D

The cost of shipping is based on how much you spend, not how big the package is, so it can add up. As mentioned above if Disney ships your package home and there are problems when you receive it (damaged or missing items) Disney will replace them.
Some people will bring an empty suitcase for their purchases while others will gather everything together and ship it themselves from their resort. This does save money but keep in mind that since you packed and shipped it yourself, Disney cannot be responsible for anything damaged in shipping.

If you have the store ship the items for you, you don't pay sales tax and the cost of shipping is directly related to how much you spend. The more you spend the more the shipping is.

Or, you can buy the items and then go to the Concierge desk and have them ship it back. They will ship things via ground per the weight of the shipment. You have to pay Florida but the shipping should be less, especially of the things you bought are expensive but small.

We did that from the WL with the stuff we bought. I don't know the cost of the shipping because my wife did it all.
