Veteran's Day

So with the Ken Burns series "The War" on these past few weeks, I've been getting nostalgic about the upcoming Veteran's Day in November. I wanted to throw this topic out there.
Keeping politics out of it, do you know of anyone specific in the currently in the military? I read the news reports each day but I can't say that I personally know anyone involved in any of the conflicts. If you do, would you mind posting their name and where they are currently so we can think about them on Veteran's Day?

I know a number of individuals in the military, but at the moment none of them are deployed. My father recently returned from a six-month deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan. (He is a retired Air Force officer who now works for a government agency.) My brother is active duty Air Force; he is "due" for deployment at any time now, but no word yet as to when/where.
