I have been scouring the board to try and pick up hints as to how best to avoid the most crowded park on a particular day. These are some ideas I have picked up, and would like everyone to give their experience/corrections/ and hints to this list.

1. Obviously go in low season

2. Some days are historically more crowded in particular parks.
Magic Kingdom: Monday, Saturday & Sunday
Epcot: Wednesday & Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday
Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday & Friday

3.Early Extra Magic Hour increases the crowd in that park for that day.

4. Evening Magic Hours tend to make that park less corwded on the next day.

5. Little Ones Magic Hour makes Magic Kingdom more crowded in the morning, not so much in the afternoon.

6. MK is more crowded on days with both parades and fireworks.

And a big question, how do events like MNSSHP effect crowds on the day of and the day after the event?

Thanks for posting this - can't wait to see what people have to say.

We picked many of the WRONG parks on the WRONG days during our Oct '06 vacation, and I want to plan better next time!
