I know there are a few places that have tables that you can sit at to watch Illuminations. Are there any that are close to a place to get drinks for kids and adults, and maybe some snacks?

The Mexican Cantina has tables right on the water. Find their menu here. (http://intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/epcot/cantina.asp)

Outside of the R&C Pub is a patio with seating for first come/first serve. They are close to the English Pub where you can get some snacks, Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips, Canada (popcorn & drinks available outside) and the small McDonald's on the other side of Canada.

Those are the best seating locations right on the water! :mickey:

Out of Mexico and the patio next to Rose and Crown, which do you think is better and why?

The Cantina is a good choice if you're looking for a quick exit. The Beer Garden (next to the Rose & Crown) doesn't fill up quite so quickly and your pretty convenient to any type of fast food that you want. We've brought over our Fish & Chips, also pastries from France. Just so you know though, neither location really offers a quiet, private feeling. As it gets closer to Illuminations, people pack in there and you could have a fair number standing pressed right up against your table.
