Disney wins ruling in Pooh case
The Walt Disney Co. won an appeals-court ruling in its 16-year battle over Winnie the Pooh royalties. A California appeals court in Los Angeles, in a notice filed Tuesday, affirmed a 2004 trial judge's decision to throw out a lawsuit by Stephen Slesinger Inc., owner of the merchandising rights to the cartoon character, after finding that Slesinger had illegally obtained evidence.
