Developers of the new 240-room Mona Lisa Suite Hotel in Celebration, Fla., today announced that significant exterior work is now complete on the luxury all-suite hotel. The $70 million project is under construction five miles south of Walt Disney World at the intersection of Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 192. The hotel is scheduled to open in November 2007. The hotel's overall design concept was created by Morris Adjmi Architects of New York City; while the interior design is a collaborative effort between Morris Adjmi and Duffy & Partners of Minneapolis, Minn.

Bill Haberman, COO and principal of Mona Lisa at Celebration LLC, the development company for the hotel, said, "We believe that with the exceptional talents of Morris Adjmi Architects, Duffy & Partners, Maverick Architecture and Graves World Hospitality, the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel will be a shining example of the condominium hotel concept, and a unique addition to the Celebration community."

The overall design concept of the public access areas will be one of rich textures, polished wood and glass, and burnished metals creating an eclectic blend of modern and classic design. Oversized interpretations of well-known masters' artwork will adorn the walls on each individual floor, creating an abundance of color and beauty throughout the hotel.

The exquisite one- and two-bedroom suites with elegantly appointed living areas will feature rich tapestry fabrics in rose tones, soft yellows, shades of green and striking elements of rust and bronze. Each suite will be fully furnished and feature a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, solid-quartz counter tops, nine-foot ceilings and neo-classical lighting
Each bedroom will feature king-size beds adorned with Egyptian cotton linens and down comforters and pillows. Thymes Azur Collection toiletries and plush bathrobes will be provided and every room will be furnished with LCD flat screen televisions. Queen-size sofa sleepers and a combination washer/dryer are included in the thoughtfully appointed suites. Each suite will also include cordless telephones, wireless high-speed Internet access and laptop-sized in-room safes. Working desk areas are designed for guest comfort and convenience.

Self-contained balconies are fully furnished for year-round enjoyment and overlook the swimming pool area, village of Celebration or the lush Florida landscape.

The Da Vinci Boardroom will provide an intimate setting for up to 20 individuals in an ambiance of warm wood tones, dramatic artwork, plush executive chairs and full audio-visual capabilities. A VIP meeting concierge will be available and all of today's technology requests will be met without hesitation.

The Galerie Restaurant and Bar will seat 150 guests in a bi-level environment with outdoor terrace seating available on each level. Fresh, healthy foods will be the focus of the menu with unique presentations and original concepts of an award-winning chef.

Twelve tropically landscaped acres, including a 360-degree vanishing-edge swimming pool with a lush island center and state-of-the-art whirlpool tub will be the focal point for the outside recreational areas. Stately Florida palms will line the driveway that leads to a circular turnaround at reception.
