Info on Sences

We are attending Sences for the first time on our upcomming trip this October.

As I understand it start with watching a performance and then onto the garden area where we will be served food and wine.

Has anyone attended this event before? Can you provide insight as to what to expect.

Do you mean the Party for the Senses at the F&W Festival?

We went a couple of years ago. It was in the large Millenium pavilion between and behind Canada and UK (it was used for the Millenium celebration back in 1999-2000). There were many different food and wine stations set up (like about 20) all around the area, with a stage in the middle. The Cirque performers performed on the stage periodically and also circulated in the crowd (I was standing at one of the bar tables near the stage when I realized someone was at my elbow -- I turned and it was a Cirque performer staring at me intently!). So we ate and watched, ate and watched, checked out the food stands again, etc. until we couldn't eat any more!

It wasn't a garden area, it was just the large room (like a convention center). Maybe they've changed it since 2005?
