Private Dining

We are going to be using the Disney Dining Plan during our upcoming trip. Has anyone used the Private Dining to have dinner in their room? It sounds nice, but I thought I would ask before I decide to try it.

You can. It'll count as 2 Adult TSR meals per person instead of one. You can also use it for Pizza Delivery at Value Resorts.

I'm not sure how it works at the other resorts but if you use it for Pizza Delivery, you get a 2 liter of soda or water, one Pizza, two sides (either one order of breadsticks (6) or two side salads), and two desserts. It will include grat on the tab, but if you wanted to tip more, you can.

Isn't the private dining the same as room service?
