Anyway, trying to stave off my wanting to leave for WDW right now by reading your posts, and just curious what ride everyone started their last trip with.

We started last trip with Kilim Safaris. It was the best way to start, since I had never ridden it before, and Mrs had not ever been to WDW.

On July 6, 2007 we headed straight to Animal Kingdom and Everest where we rode it for the first time! It is now my favorite coaster. TOTALLY AWESOME!!! :coaster:

On our last trip (9/6-11), we started off by going to Epcot and walked on to Test Track with no wait. We've never seen it that short.

Arrival day we always go to DTD. First & last park days it's MK! Buzz is usually our first attraction!:mickey:

It's killing me - I could pack & leave tomorrow! We're not going back until next fall & I'm in serious withdrawal after taking this year off from WDW!:sob:

We start most trips with Peter Pan's Flight. It's a nice family tradition, and the ride gets so crowded by midday anyway.

We started our last trip on the carousel in Fantasyland. It was our boys' first trip, and we'd gotten in early for the Magical Beginnings EMH. It was something I'll never forget! :mickey:

On my last trip, my first ride was Spaceship Earth.

Usually I start and end my trips with MK, but since I was only there 2 days, I saved MK for last.

On our first trip to WDW, the first ride we rode was TT. Then it was M:S. The last ride we rode on before we headed home was Peter Pan's Flight.

This time around, the first ride we'll ride on is SM. Probably the last ride we'll ride will be Peter Pan's Flight.

Our very first trip (April 9-16) we went to MK first (always) and rode Jungle Cruise. Our second trip (Dec 9-16) we went to MK and rode POTC first. This trip (Oct 26-Nov 2) we will go to MK and probably ride POTC first again, but we might go ahead and head over to Splash Mt since my youngest wasn't tall enough to ride (they said! She rode TOT, BTMRR, TT, Dinosaur) last time and I still have not been on it.:mickey: Can't wait,39 days and counting!!!!

This is absolutely one of my most favorite rides. It is so fun and so classic Disney!! On our Nov. trip we will be starting at MGM, so we'll probably start at TOT or RNRC. But, my favorite ride at MGM is the Great Movie Ride, so we may start there and save the "scary" rides for later in the day. Who knows. :-)

I went on my first trip last February, but I honestly can't remember what ride we went to first. It was something in Epcot though. This December, however, I fully intend to go directly to the Tower of Terror.

We try to start off our trips with an AK EMH so we can ride the Safari. It gives Rachel's camera a chance to realize it's back at WDW, this way it can go get some powerbars and carb-up.

.....and most likely we'll do the same thing in November! :thumbsup: Although this time I'll be *slightly* bummed because the DL version is so much more awesome.

Our first trip as a family in 2005 we rode Dumbo first. Its something I'll never forget!

Last October we rode It's a Small World first. It was closed for refurb when we went in 2005.

When we go in March DS has already asked to go on Peter Pan first. Of course, the taking the monorail from the Poly to MK will be our first actual ride :cloud9:

Now to answer the OP's question...
We don't have a particular park that we start with. We base which parks for which days on whatever EMH's are going on that day. So... for MK our first ride is always Space Mountain.
Epcot...we head to Soarin first but usually have to get a FP and end up riding Test Track first. At AK Epedition Everest is first and at MGM it is Rockin Rollercoaster. So, I guess it looks like we head for all the thrill rides first--a great way to get back in the Disney mode!:mickey:

When the kids were little, it was Dumbo because as anyone who's been knows, that line is a killer early on. Now it's Peter Pan, even though our kids are 20 and 16. It makes us all feel like little kids again. :waycool:

Our last trip started at MK. It was in January and kind of a damp, cold morning so there was literally only about FIVE people on Main Street. We went to Tomorrowland first and rode Space twice in a row with less than a five minute wait both times.:thumbsup:

Our family tradition is to eat at Mama Melrose's and then go to see Fantasmic. We usually arrive mid day, so don't want to waste the time at MK. We like to go over on the boats the next day (as early as possible) to catch our first sight of Cinderella's castle.:clappy:
