Dress codes

Just wondering. My family and I have dinner ressies at Narcoosies on Dec.1. The person at MS told me there is a Business Casual dress code. She specifically told me that shorts were not allowed. I recall reading somewhere that shorts are allowed as long as they are not denim. I was hoping to wear dress shorts, golf shirt, and dress sandals. Will this fly? Also, my DD is 5yrs old. What is the dress code for her? Thanks.

Have no idea why you were told that shorts aren't allowed. Dress shorts are definitely allowed at Narcoosse's. We go there every trip and I have worn them myself. I think you are right about denim. The Narcoossee's page on Disney gives the actual dress code.

Certain shorts are definitely allowed at Narcoossee's and other nice restaurants. Try to look better than you would in the theme parks, but you're not attending a black-tie affair.
