MNSSHP Tickets

We are staying at CSR from the 19th-24th of September and are planning to go to the party on the 21st. (our first, yoo hoo!) Do you think it would be ok to buy our tickets when we arrive or should we buy them now? I don't want to have it sell out but I also don't want a weather cancelled event either. Thanks.

We bought ours b4 we went. And don't worry about weather cancellations. Just take your ponchos and enjoy the smaller crowds. Except for extreme weather/lightning, the show will go on. And what a show it is!! We will not miss it in any of our future journeys to WDW. Don't miss the fireworks show, and the parade (I still can't get that song out of my head) Be sure to look for the gravediggers "spark"ling dance!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

We will be there for the first party on 9/14 - and bought our tickets in advance. It'll be our 4th MNSSHP. I'd say that since you plan to go on a Friday night, there is a better chance of it selling out. You may want to buy in advance. We love the decorations and parades, but if it rained, it would mean we could get off Space Mountain and get right back on! After the first parade the place thins out anyway - and that's more of why we go. No crowds.

We have always bought our hard ticket items before we leave, and usually around the time they become available. I think it is rare that they have an issue where they have to cancel the event due to weather, but it can happen.

We are going on the 21st too! We got our tix in the mail today!:joy: If you do order them now I would do- will call or print them on your printer, or pay extra for shipping. Ours took a week and a day to get here.

We're planning to go on the 21st as well - but are waiting until we arrive to purchase tickets. I'd recommend buying them before (why waste time there waiting in line/purchasing tickets?). The only reason I haven't bought them is that we aren't 100% certain that we'll get to go yet.....

We are going to the party this friday (14th) I purchased our tickets the second they were made available. I can't wait. Halloween is my favorite holiday!
