Fantasmic and dinner reservations

Hello,

A few questions about this...

We have never been to Fantasmic and plan to go. The thing is my kids all really want to eat dinnner at Sci Fi Dine in Theater. If we are to eat here, there is no package for fantasmic.

So, if I make an ADR around 5 will this give us time to get to fantasmic? Or do I try to get a package with another restaurant? I am not a fan of arriving too early (and waiting) as we have young kids, but I want to make sure we make this show.

On the day we are to go to MGM, in Feb, there is no second showing. I could juggle my days to be there for a second showing on another day, would this be beneficial?

Sci Fi is very fun. We made ADRs for our upcoming Oct. trip. If Fantasmic starts at 7:00, I don't feel that this would be enough time. My DH is not a fan of waiting either, however, we wait about 1 1/2 hours to see Fantasmic. We usually get a really good seat. We chat with people around us to make the wait more fun.
