DDP credits question

DDP is linked to the nights stayed at a Disney resort, right? We will be staying at the Poly 7 nights. However, the first day (night), we may not arrive in Florida until evening. We are planning to stay at the theme parks the 8th day (the day we check out) and possibly the 9th/10 day (and stay at an off property hotel for the last two nights) Can we use any extra DDP credits during the days we aren't at a DR? Or most importantly, can we at least use them the 8th day we check out, but are not acutally staying that night? Otherwise, we waste credits from that first day.

Your credits are good for nights of stay and last until midnight of the day you check out.

I would suggest going to a "Signature"TS resturant that requires 2 credits per meal if you think you may not get to use them all. Something like the cali grill etc.:mickey:

We make sure we use all of our TS while staying at the resort and if we have CS or snacks left over the day we are checking out, use them at the food court for breakfast or gather up take out for use later in the day. You can take it with you to the next hotel you stay at and have snacks, etc. for the room. We have a picnic going home a lot of the time with what we get before leaving. But, yes, you have to use them before midnight the day you check out so if you are going back to the parks that day, you can use them then.
