World famous key lime pie

When we are in WDW this Dec., my wife and I will be looking for that famous florida key lime pie.:eat: Can anyone recall a slice of key lime heaven they had in "the world"?

I don't eat key lime pie, but I know they sell it in the cafeteria-style restaurant in The Land pavilion. I had a piece of chocolate cake there that was very good, so maybe that bodes well for the KLP?

We are on our way home from WDW, and we stayed at the OKW resort. The key lime pie there was really good, and the Wolf Gang Puck Express key lime pie is really good too!:thumbsup:

The Key Lime at the food court at The Land is really good...it comes as an individual whole pie and is absolutely delicious. You can get it as your dessert if you are on the Dining Plan as well.

Thanks for the info! We always try to get some when we are in Florida but have always stayed off-site before so I hadn't considered where to get it in the World! Thanks. :mickey:

Key lime pie is one of my favorite desserts....but it's hard to find one I like as much as my homemade version! So I don't order it out much.

I know that they serve the mini key lime pies at Flame Tree BBQ as well. I'm not sure how "authentic" it is but it was good. Good luck in your quest!

Yes, they do still have Key Lime Pie at the Flame Tree BBQ, but it is a wedge from a whole pie that is served now. It's good, but not as good as the mini pie at The Land.

Narcoossee's has a Key Lime Creme Brulee that is fantastic.
