Does anyone know where I can find an official list of the minimum height requiremetns for rides at all four parks and the water parks? I've found several links by doing a google search but have actually found some conflicting information.

Birnbaum's Guide to WDW has the height requirements listed for rides.

While we're on the subject, I'm going to do a minor hijacking here. Been meaning to ask anyway.

Are the height requirements with or without shoes? Now I know they've never asked my kids to remove them, but I'm not asking in order to "cheat" the system. I want to make sure my little one is safe. Most of her shoes add a good 1/2" to her height. So, is she *really* OK to ride? Does anyone know the official policy? And if not, care to share your thinking on it? My kids have just never been quite so close to a height restriction on our previous trips.

I have never seen anyone asked to take shoes off kids (except in airports of course!). I would think if they were in regular kids shoes it should be fine. If they were in some of those thick sandal shoes it may make a difference but regular shoes should not matter.

You have to meet the height requirement standing in normal shoes, which usually provide an extra 1/2 inch. I've only seen people have to take off their shoes when it was obvious to everyone that that added inches to the height, like platform shoes. If you meet the height requirement you are physically safe on the ride, and in all actuality amusement parks across the country add a few inches to the height requirement to protect themselves. Having a person get injured on one of their rides because the park failed to have the correct height restriction would find that park in court.

You can also find ride restrictions on WDW's site, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index. The restrictions are listed under each attraction's page.

We went to a local family fun center here today and our DD was just a hair over 40" in her Crocs.
We have 15 days until we arrive, I hope the WDW sticks are the same as the ones they used today! :fingers:
