Asian inspired, from what I've read here on Intercot.

I have my reservations (pun intended) about any restaurant with 'yak' :ack: in the name....but I may have to check it out if it's open before Nov. 16...

We have a restaurant here in the Denver area called the Yak & Yeti. The food is Indian and Nepalese. Of course, Disney's could be completely different. I do hope it's Indian food though. YUMMY!

I think Disney's version of Yak & Yeti will offer more traditional Americanized Asian fare. Though I'd love to see good Indian food in Animal Kingdom, I expect a menu of fried rice and sesame chicken.

. . . more traditional Americanized Asian fare . . .

1) That is what I understand.
2) Some rumored menu items are:
. . . "Yakity Yak Don't Talk Back Salad", with no-burp onions
. . . "Backpack Yeti Attach Burger", for counter service
. . . "Forgeta Yeti Fried Felafel", an Italian-MidEast-Indian ball
. . . "Yak Hardtack", a walk-around jerky snack
