My mom and I will be going in a few weeks and I thought of buying tickets for this one night when we are there, but I wasn't sure if it was really appropriate for two adults or worth the extra money. Any input would be great!

I guess it really depends on you and your mom, I would NOT hesitate to go this party as an adult.

We went and March and there were tons of adult only parties; in costumes at that.

for the rides alone, there were not any lines for them, most of the lines were for the characters.

I say go and have FUN!!!

:pirate: Absolutely go!!! :princess:

DH and I went back in February, just the two of us, and we had a fabulous time. The fireworks were AMAZING!!!!!

Saw tons of adult only parties. They were wearing some great costumes!

I thought it was great! The fireworks were awesome - how do they make that skull and crossbones? You don't have to collect the treasures although the candy is Hershey's for the most part so it's good stuff. There are a lot of cool photo ops and it was worth the price of admission to see Captain Jack Sparrow. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn on my life that this guy was Johnny Depp. He personally escorted me from the room for not calling him Captain. There were plenty of adult-only parties wandering around and they were enjoying it as much as the kids!

okay, you have convinced me... However, if I pre-buy tickets online, how do I get the tickets? Do they mail them or do I print something out?
Thanks!

They mailed ours but if I were you I would probably do the will-call option because you might not have enough time to receive them in the mail. I think you can have them expressed but it's probably not worth the cost. I believe that you will have to take your receipt, your ID, and possibly the credit card you used for the purchase to Guest Services at MK. The tickets are a hard plastic ticket like the Key to the World room cards.

Okay I actually went twice. The first ticket I bought was far enough out to have it sent to me. That card was hard plastic like my key to the world card. The other was too soon before my trip to have mailed to me, so I will-called it. I took the print-out to the window at MK, and I was given the paper version of the ticket. I needed the print out and my photo ID. Both versions of the tickets had cute pictures on them. But...at this point you really would need to do will call, not standard mail.
