Ok so i was upset that we weren't going any where for vacation..Well we were eating dinner and my dad asked me and my sis if we wanted to go swimming..We said sure..He asked where? My little sis(rebekah) said "disney world" My dad said "ok go pack" well we thought he was joking so we kinda blew it off..Well me and rebekah were on my parent's bed and My dad came out of his closet with a suitcase and he said 'Well are you going to pack or stay here?" we were like "pack for what?" he said "well you said you wanted to swin at disney." Us: Are you serius?!?!?!" Dad: yea..why would i joke? and mom opened the suitcase and it was packed! So i'm leaving tomorrow at 2 and we are staying at DW for 9 nights and i'm soooo excited..me and my sister were screaming, crying, jumping up and down. i was hyper-ventalating..My parents love surprising me and my sister. In 2002 we left at 6 AM and had no clue where we were going until SC when my mom told us we were going to WDW..In 2005 They planned with my best friend's family that we would meet there later and surprise me9 it was surprise to her too) and 2006 they surprised us with an extra day at MK..and i remember telling my mom how she would keep surprising us and that there wasn't any thing that would top what she's already done..well she sure proved me wrong..Well time to pack! :cloud9:

Wow, that is so awesome. I have to do this to my children one day. DH and I have already surprised them and my mother with a trip to WDW one year for their birthdays, but they were turning 2 and 4 so they really don't remember much and the 2 year old didn't really know what was going on. My mom was really surprised and that was well worth it. This year in Feb. we went back (me, the boys and my mom) to celebrate their birthdays again. This time they were turning 5 and 7 and we surprised them with an extra night. We were all packed and acted like we were leaving to go home and pulled in at the Swan. When we told them that we were staying there for the night and going back in the parks one more time they didn't believe us at first. I can't wait to surprise them again with a trip. Your parent's must be wonderful people!!!!!! Have a blast!

Wow! How fun!! We surprised our kids with a quick day trip to MK a couple of years ago. We were planning to go to Williamsburg and ended up in FL! They didn't catch on until we were in Charlotte, NC instead of Charlottesville, VA!:mickey:

Have a super time!!!

That is so cool. I have loved WDW since my first trip in 1980. My sister and I had so many great trips with my parents as young children and as teenagers. My mom and I even took a few trips together as adults.

Now I am taking my DSs on their first trip and I am so excited to pass this family tradition on to them.

Have a great time!!
