Gift cards used @ Restaurants???

Question - I have an American Express Gift Card - do you know if those can be used at Cape May or any of the other Disney restaurants?

I hope that someone comes along to confirm, but I think that as long as they accept American Express as payment you should be fine!

A friend of mine tried to use her AMex gift card at 2 different restaurants in Sanibel Island last week-end who accept AMex and was told that they take Amex, but don't take their gift cards - that's why I thought I'd throw this out to anyone who might use them. Thanks............:mickey:

We used an Amex gift card at Boma. They didn't know what it was at first (thought it was a credit card), but once explained, no problem. As long as they take Amex, should be fine! Have fun!:mickey:

I did not try using it at a restaurant, but last year I successfully used an AmEx gift card at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. :mickey:

Thanks - that's a good option too as I know that I'll be spending time in DTD, especially shopping for clothes, & goodies. :mickey:
