How is the Night of Joy set up?

Are different bands playing in different lands or is it one band at a time on the castle stage? Are some of the rides still running? What about restaurants? Do they have fireworks or a parade?

I would assume different bands at different times throughout the park, with major acts in front of the castle at set times. However, this year will be our first attending, so I'm interested as well what the setup is. We'll be there Friday Night (9/7).

today i found the itinerary on here. it was under news, rumors, and imagineering and titled dateline disney - september/october 2007. it's the second one down. http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=113409
dh and i are trying to work it out so that dd can stay with nana and we can have a night to ourselves for the first time in over a year (dd turned 1 on 8-8). we'retrying to make it friday night. perhaps we'll see you there.
