My DBF, myself, DS 6 and DD 2.5 will be heading to the world in 8 days!! :yay: I know many rides have height or age restrictions, and I am sure we are going to use the baby swap for many rides, but we were just wondering if DD 2.5 will be able to ride POTC with us. We are not worried about the scare factor, she is a tough cookie and not scared of much. But will they allow her to ride with us, or will we have to take turns on this one too? Thanks in advance for your help!!:mickey:

Most young children and toddlers handle Pirates of the Caribbean. The beginning is dark and somewhat ominous, but the pirates are more playful than threatening the rest of the ride.

Since there is no height requirement, have your whole family enjoy the attraction.

oh yea. 2.5 is no problem. My little bro was 2 when we went last. He was fine.

Have fun there!:mickey:

We took our son for the first time on POTC when he was 10 months old and he was perfectly fine. Now, he LOVES it and he is 2.5.

My younger son went on POTC for the first time at 5 months old. I had him in the Baby Bjorn.

He is 7 now and it is his all time favorite ride in WDW.

It became our family's first ride tradition about 5 years ago. We will not ride any other ride at MK until we have ridden Pirates. :mickey:

Have a great time. We hope you all love POTC as much as we do!!

Not a problem - but you might want to warn your children that their is a VERY SHORT drop toward the beginning of the ride that is surprising - that is the one part seems to freak out smaller children!

Have a great visit!

If your little one is afraid of the dark you can always bring a small flashlight and have them shine it at their feet. Other than that, they should be fine. We'll be taking an 8 week old on it.
