Looking for health insuranc for DS. He will start the WDWCP soon. He will also be graduating from Art school next week. DH work will no longer cover him. He will not be taking classes at Disney. Thanks

You're probably looking for some sort of individual insurance. It's pricey usually, and coverage is typically considered catastrophic, meaning it's really just to save you from going into bankrupcy should something "bad" happen.

You need to contact an insurance broker in your area. Or actually, down in Florida if they are living down there. Maybe some of the big boys have a plan that will cover them out of state, who knows.

Individual insurance is usually underwritten though, so if there are any pre-existing conditions it may be very hard to find coverage. Nobody wants to insure a sick person.

It may be worth (financially speaking) enrolling full time in some college to keep the full time student status going. Who cares if they are gym classes...

I know up here in MA you can cover a dependant up to age 26 now. They changed that not too long ago. It might be worth looking into to see if you have the same regulations that we have.
